I grew up in the south, mostly in Louisiana and the countryside of Tennessee. I went to college, traveled, met my best friend/husband, and recently gave birth to my adorable first son. I currently reside in Southern California, minutes from the beach.
I've been creating arts and crafts as far back as I can remember. I began sewing at age seven, and for a while ran an alterations business from home. I've been instructed in sketching, water color painting, stained glass, jewelry-making, fashion design, interior design, and industrial design. I'm always excited to learn more techniques and use new mediums.
Aside from my passion for such projects, I also love the outdoors. My husband and I enjoy rock climbing, cycling, surfing, and snowboarding together. We're excited to teach our son and future children how to enjoy those things too, all the while encouraging them to pursue their own interests.
I'm excited for what the future holds, both for my family and for this blog. Thanks for taking the time to learn about me. As you browse through please leave comments, because I would love to learn about you, follow your blog, and build my network of friends and artisans.
Feel free to contact me if you have an special requests or questions. (See the Contact Me tab.)
